RailsConf Program
An evolving snapshot of where Rails is each year, our program is always fresh, especially as our content is almost completely community-generated from an open Call for Proposals and blind review process. What stays the same every year though is the inclusion of multiple tracks of breakout sessions, two concurrent workshop tracks, our popular Lightning Talks, and a selection of thought-provoking and impactful keynotes.

Explore Our Host City
This year, we bring RailsConf to Pittsburgh, one of America’s most exciting and quickly evolving cities. While the city boasts a deep history of industry, Pittsburgh is better known these days as a tech innovation hub with progressive environmental practices and a comprehensive arts scene. With friendly folks and an immensely walkable downtown, we’re very excited about landing in the City of Bridges!

Policies
A key goal at RailsConf is ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all participants. On our Policies page, you can review or reacquaint yourself with 1) our Anti-Harassment Policy, which we require all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff to comply with, with no exception; 2) our Accessibility Policy; and 3) our Refund Policy.
Childcare
RailsConf 2017 will also feature complimentary onsite childcare for attendees who plan on attending with children. This is offered for the full duration of official conference programming. We engage professional, licensed childcare services, and as such, it's important for us to know as soon as possible how many children will be in attendance. If you are interested in this, or in use of our onsite Lactation Room, please email us at railsconf@rubycentral.org.
